Step into the world of one of New England’s greatest maritime storytellers! Join the Hull Lifesaving Museum on Saturday, October 3 for a special birthday celebration honoring legendary historian and author Edward Rowe Snow, featuring a presentation by his daughter, Dolly Snow Bicknell. Rescheduled from September. Edward Rowe Snow authored more than 40 books chronicling New England’s maritime history, legends, lighthouses, shipwrecks, and the islands of Boston Harbor. At a time when Boston Harbor was neglected and polluted, his writing inspired generations to recognize its beauty, history, and importance. Dolly, Edward Row Snow’s only child, accompanied her father on countless harbor adventures and will share personal stories, rare archival photos, and historic videos celebrating his remarkable life and lasting legacy. Fans and collectors will also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Edward Rowe Snow’s books, including several with original sketches inside the covers.
