His raw guitar playing, powerhouse vocals, and timeless songwriting draw from legends like Howlin’ Wolf, Al Green, Freddie King, and The Allman Brothers while forging a sound that’s unmistakably his own. After earning international acclaim with Left My Soul in Memphis, Little Black Flies, Capricorn, and Saratoga, Eddie returns with DOWN HERE, his debut for Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound. Recorded live in Nashville with Auerbach at the helm, the album captures the spontaneity, grit, and soul of classic Southern records, blending blues, rock, country, gospel, and deep grooves into a collection that feels both fresh and timeless. Whether he’s tearing through a guitar solo or delivering a heartfelt ballad, Eddie 9V brings an honesty and intensity that have made him one of the most exciting young artists carrying the torch for American roots music today.
