Dwight Yoakam brings the Bakersfield sound back to Southern California on Saturday, December 5, with Texas country artist Wynn Williams opening the night at the Terrace Theater in downtown Long Beach. Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums, won multiple GRAMMY® Awards, and put 14 singles in the Billboard country Top 10. He has also spent four decades making the case that country music has a California history worth taking seriously, from the honky-tonks of Bakersfield to the SiriusXM channel he launched to document that sound. This is a hometown-region show for an artist who built his career an hour up the freeway.
