Dungeon Crawler Carl at Eden Bar

About this event

Join the Ladies Book and Explorers while we enjoy a relaxed, lovely outside venue at the Eden Bar to discuss Dungeon Crawler Carl. **True**: We do not read books that are part of a series. **Also True**: This selection was submitted by a member who was unaware of this, however, after a group discussion with the members who were present, decided to go for it. **Another Truth**: Although this Organizer is an enormous fan of Dungeon Crawler Carl, I did not suggest it. **A Final Truth**: While reading the first of this series could possibly whet your appetite for more, there is no plan to continue the series and it does not end on a cliffhanger. **Item to Note**: Eden Bar is an outside venue. If there is inclement weather on Friday, October 9, the venue will be changed. Please be certain to watch for a venue update email if it is raining on the day of the meet up. **It is important that if you RSVP and later determine you can't make it to unRSVP as soon as possible.** It is difficult to manage reservations for larger groups and can cause challenges with restaurants. Additionally, sometimes members are on the waitlist and knowing as early as possible spot opened up allows them time to arrange to attend. **Dungeon Crawler Carl, Matt Dinnimen** The apocalypse will be televised! A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot. A dungeon so enormous, it circles the entire globe. Only a few dare venture inside. But once you're in, you can't get out. And what's worse, each level has a time limit. You have but days to find a staircase…
