Join our Drummer’s Club Workshop to build a strong foundation in drumming. Hosted and instructed by Juan Pablo Pastor at Funkadelic Studios! Explore fundamental beats and rhythms from various music styles. Build a solid foundation to adapt to any musical scenario with confidence. Explore basic rhythms from various music styles. Expect to gain a versatile rhythmic toolkit essential for any musical situation. Drummers Club Workshop Calendar: \- January 25th: Drum Set Setup \- February 22nd: Basic Drum Rudiments \- March 22nd: Timing with a Metronome \- April 26th: Introduction to Basic Rhythms \- May 24th: Rhythm Pyramid \- June 28th: Drum Chops and Fills \- July 26th: Practice Pad and Warm\-ups \- August 23rd: Playing with Other Musicians \- September 27th: Track Preparation \- October 25th: Pre\-performance Show General Admission Tickets - $10 **January: Drum Set Setup** Learn how to assemble a drum set, tune drums, adjust pedals and cymbal stand, and practice proper sitting posture for optimal comfort and performance. Students will learn the essentials of setting up a drum set, including tuning, pedal adjustments, and posture. Expect hands-on guidance to ensure a comfortable and effective setup. **February: Basic Drum Rudiments** Master essential drum rudiments, stick grips, and techniques for striking toms and cymbals. Explore foundational hand/foot combinations and the basics of using a double kick pedal. Expect to master stick grips, basic rudiments, and proper striking techniques. This month will build a foundation in hand/foot coordination, including an introduction to the double kick pedal. **March: Timing with a Metronome** Develop timing precision by applying rudiments and hand-foot exercises with a metronome, ensuring consistent rhythm and tempo control.
