This high-energy workshop uses freestyle hip-hop as a tool for becoming a faster, bolder, and more playful improv comedian. Through games, rhythm, collaborative exercises, and improvised rap scenes, students will strengthen the same skills that great improvisers, stand-ups, and comedic performers rely on: commitment, listening, pattern recognition, confidence, and discovering the funny before the inner critic gets in the way. Whether you perform improv, stand-up, sketch, clown, musical comedy, or simply want to become more fearless on stage, this workshop will give you practical tools for thinking faster, making stronger choices, and having more fun. Prerequisites: No musical experience is necessary. Some stage experience recommended.
