Dreadneck Wednesdays is a weekly reggae event series starring Mau Mau Chaplains—the best regular reggae/ska show in town and the ONLY place to be on a Wednesday night. The Mau Mau Chaplains assemble several hundred years of collective reggae experience, defining the Sixth St. music scene with Dreadneck Night at Flamingo Cantina every Wednesday for the last decade. The Mau Maus combine four-part harmonies with a driving reggae beat, complete with a full horn section courtesy of the Tijuana Train Wreck. This is, in truth, a professional reggae orchestra.
