Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat Live on Stage Mix two bored kids (this was long before iPads), a rainy day, and a mischievous cat in a red-striped hat—who hired this babysitter, anyway? and you get the beloved tale of The Cat in the Hat. Joined by Thing One and Thing Two (and despite protests from their outraged pet Fish!), the Cat fills the stage with playful chaos and madcap fun. Along the way, he reminds us that a little imagination can turn any dull day into an adventure: “It’s fun to have fun, but you have to know how.” Audiences of all ages will delight in this lively theatrical adaptation of a timeless classic brought to life.
