Join the Minneapolis Downtown Council (MDC) for a Downtown Dialogues event examining how the Lumber Exchange, Grain Exchange, and Flour Exchange are being adapted for housing, creative work, and new economic activity while preserving the historic character that defines downtown. The conversation will look at how adaptive reuse can bring new purpose to landmark buildings, attract investment, and increase downtown activity. These projects highlight a growing effort to reuse historic properties rather than replace them, creating opportunities for residents, businesses, and visitors while preserving the architecture and stories that connect downtown to its past.
