About this event

@ This event is presented by the Megunticook Watershed Association. Although it takes place in the Picker Room, this is not a library event. It is open to the public. Jill Howell, project manager for Downeast Salmon Federation, will present on the organization’s work to conserve and restore sea-run fish in Maine’s rivers. Downeast Salmon Federation has been working downeast for more than 40 years to conserve and restore salmon and other sea-run fish in the rivers and streams of the region through reconnecting waterways, restoring habitat, conserving land along riparian buffers, and supporting populations through our conservation hatcheries. Recently, DSF has been involved with efforts within the Midcoast – including in Orland, Belfast, and Camden – to address aging dam infrastructure and inadequate fish passage in this region. The talk will be held at the Camden Public Library. Add to calendar Google Calendar iCalendar Outlook 365 Outlook Live
