About this event

Most parents know by 3rd Grade if their child is having reading problems. Eighty percent of the time, reading problems are caused by dyslexia. There is a lot of misinformation and confusion about dyslexia, which affects between 15-20% of the population. This presentation may be helpful if: · Your child struggles with reading, but you don’t know why. · You’re wondering how you can help your child get on track with reading. · You aren’t sure if your child’s school is addressing the problem. · You've brought up your child’s reading problem with a teacher, and were told not to worry. About the Presenter: Anna Cencioso is the founder and head of Touchstone Learning, a premier school for dyslexic students in San Francisco, CA. She began her teaching career as a tenured teacher in the Palo Alto School District, a top 10 U.S. school district. As a literacy expert, Anna loves the work she does and considers it a privilege to teach her students and develop her teaching staff into expert teachers. She is passionate about helping parents understand how to take action and get their children reading.
