Do It Scared ~ A Very Open Mic! Hosted by MQULTRA with special guest, Carlin John You might know MQULTRA better as Marquetta Miller, front woman of the now-defunct Seattle funk and soul band Breaks and Swells. Bad nights out, broken hearts, and self-reflection sit at the center of Miller's lyrical universe; MQULTRA is an exploration of her broader musical taste, with nods to power pop, yacht rock, blues and indie rock, while still informed by a deep love for R&B. Carlin John ~ The courtly crooner for sophisticated swooners. Singing songs of heart-break and love-make, each and every performance comes from the depths of his emotive soul, with the sole intention of moving yours. He is not to be missed.
