DJ Ahmet Winner of the Sundance Film Festival 2025 World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award and Special Jury Award for Creative Vision, Georgi M. Unkovski’s ‘DJ Ahmet’ is a tender coming-of-age story about music, belonging and the courage to dream differently. In a remote Yörük village in North Macedonia, 15-year-old Ahmet balances his father’s expectations, the quiet pressures of a conservative community, and his first love for a girl, promised to someone else. This film is not rated.
