About this event
Demarest - Community Room. All are welcome to come celebrate Diwali with the Demarest Library! Join us for a family friendly event with food, dance performance, henna (sponsored by the Friends of The Demarest Library), crafts, storytime, and more. This will take place at the Demarest Library! To accommodate the large crowd expected for this special event, circulation and book browsing services will be unavailable, and the Children’s Department will be closed so that the space can be used for event activities. All are welcome to attend the event, but please note that the Stelfox Avenue entrance will be closed. Attendees may enter the library only through the Insley Avenue entrance for the event. Regular library services will resume on Sunday, October 25, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thank you for your understanding and support as we celebrate this festive occasion with our community.
