About this event
Celebrate Diwali at Brisbane Library! Join us for a joyful and vibrant Diwali celebration at the Brisbane Library on Sunday, October 26th, from 1 to 4 PM! Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to enjoy an afternoon filled with henna art, festive crafts, and cultural performances. You'll also have the chance to learn a Bollywood dance at 2 PM. No experience needed! Just wear comfortable, festive clothes. Come immerse yourself in the Festival of Lights, celebrating community, culture, and the triumph of light over darkness. This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Mothers of Brisbane, San Mateo County Libraries, and the City’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability (IDEA) Committee, along with Friends of the Brisbane Library.
