As beloved cultural figures pass away and familiar versions of America seem to disappear, are we simply remembering the past, or longing for a world we believe we’ve lost? Why does nostalgia feel so powerful right now? Where does it come from? What are the benefits and drawbacks of nostalgia? What role does nostalgia play in your life? In individual and societal flourishing? Come have a brew, give your view, and lend an ear to others’.
