Dino Day at the Jesse Smith Library

We are starting DINO-vember off with a ROAR! Visit the library Tues. Nov. 3, 2026 for dinosaur themed fun and festive decorations. Passive activities for patrons of all ages will be available on the 1st floor. Check out our dinosaur book displays, coloring sheets, and word searches. An all ages indoor scavenger hunt will challenge patrons to find dinosaur pictures hidden around the 1st floor of the library. Take a picture with our dinosaur cardboard cutout. The Lounge Area on the 1st floor will be set up for all ages to build and create with our collection of Large Loose Dino Bones. Children and their families are welcome to visit the 2nd floor Children's Dept. for a special one day only indoor scavenger hunt for kids, a craft activity, and more! If you have a dinosaur costume or shirt, you are encouraged to wear it. Activities will be available Tues. Nov. 3, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
