Dikki Du & The Zydeco Krewe Return to the Ute Theater for a night of rhythm and blues, blues, and traditional Creole music, fast tempos, syncopated rhythms, and a joyful spirit that will get you up and moving from the first song! Dikki Du formed the Zydeco Krewe, to be a band that blends traditional Zydeco with contemporary influences, creating a unique sound that appeals to a wide audience. Dikki Du (Troy Carrier) is the son of the esteemed Louisiana Music Hall of Famer and Zydeco musician the late Roy Carrier and the brother of Chubby Carrier, both of whom have significantly influenced the genre. Dikki Du Carrier marks the third generation of the Carriers to keep the musical tradition alive. Zydeco is a family thing. If one plays, everyone plays! You will not want to miss this night aof music that will grab you and not let go until the last note is played. Show starts at 7PM, Doors Open at 6PM. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of show. Tables and seating will be available on a first come first serve basis, so get here early!
