Destination Freedom: Black Radio Days Podcast – Michael Marshall and Marvin Booker: No Way Home Experience a powerful evening of live audio theater with Destination Freedom: Black Radio Days Podcast as it presents Michael Marshall and Marvin Booker: No Way Home. Written by Terrance "Big T" Hughes and directed by Emmy Award winner donnie l. betts, this original audio drama explores homelessness, mental illness, justice and the human stories behind two men whose lives intersect in the Denver jail system. A follow-up to The Marvin Booker Story, the production imagines what might have happened if Michael Marshall and Marvin Booker had met while incarcerated. Performed before a live audience, the event will also be broadcast live on KGNU and released as part of the Destination Freedom: Black Radio Days podcast series. Following the performance, stay for a community conversation featuring playwright Terrance "Big T" Hughes, Denver Sheriff Elias Diggins, faith leaders and community advocates discussing the issues explored in the production.
