BILL MONROE MEETS ROBERT JOHNSON AT THE CROSSROADS Steeped in Bluegrass, Blues and American Roots Music, The DB's bring an energy and love for improvisation and tradition bound with modern edges. Their bag is deep, drawing from old standards, classic rock tunes, swampy blues, traditional fiddle tunes as well as original compositions. The band is based in Chicago and draws it's inspiration from musical pioneers ranging from Bill Monroe to Robert Johnson, the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, Ry Cooder, Lyle Lovett, Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan and Warren Zevon. Band members Mike Church - Guitars Jim Nelson - Bass Drew Littell - Drums Rob Anderlik - Dobro, Lap Steel, Guitars Doors at 7:30, Music around 8pm $5 cover 21+ (unless prior arrangements made)
