About this event
Tarot is a creative, mystical practice of using beautiful illustrated cards to meditate, focus oneʼs thoughts and perhaps even get a glimpse of the future. Whether one believes in divination or not, it’s undeniable that the art and the history of the Major and Minor Arcana are fascinating. We will talk a bit about the history of Tarot as first an Italian card game and then its evolution into the mystical practice we see it as today. Then we will sketch out designs, use pen and ink to line our work, and use markers to add color and embellishment. Participants will leave with up to 3 cards as well as protective sleeves to hold their finished artwork.
