- Anticipated Weather on Hike Day Today's 3.0 mile hike will begin and end in the [Floodwall Visitor Parking Lot](https://www.google.com/maps/place/37%C2%B031'36.5%22N+77%C2%B026'07.1%22W/@37.5262698,-77.4362836,108m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d37.526817!4d-77.43531?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDgxOS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) located across Hull Street from the [Richmond Railroad Museum](https://www.richmondrailroadmuseum.com/) near 1st Street. We will follow the South Floodwall west to the Manchester Bridge, admire the cityscape from the Manchester Overlook, and cross the river on the [Potterfield Bridge](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T._Tyler_Potterfield_Memorial_Bridge). We'll pass the Newport Cross and follow the Canal Walk to the [Mayo Bridge](https://historicrichmond.com/property/mayo-bridge/#:~:text=The%20first%20Mayo%20Bridge%20was,the%20service%20of%20successor%20bridges.). It will be about time for brunch when we finish and Cafe Zata is just up the street. That's my plan anyhow! Hikes begin at the posted time, not five or ten minutes later. If you are unfamiliar with the meet up location, add a few minutes to your travel schedule so you won't get left behind.
