About this event

This program will explore how Deaf artists and community members use visual art, storytelling, culture, and lived experiences to express identity, accessibility, and community connection. For ages 16+ Earl Terry is a Deaf educator, artist, curator, advocate, and founder of Gecko BASL + Protactile + ASL LLC and MDVAP (Melanated Deaf Visual Artists Project). His work centers Deaf culture, Black American Sign Language (BASL), Protactile, accessibility, storytelling, and community engagement through arts and education.
