D&D Night

Join up with the Awry Guild for a beginner-friendly, open campaign and hangout! Always wanted to try D&D but the stars never aligned? You've come to the right place! We'll meet at a public location and play a one-off adventure (no homework required, just a quick-and-easy quest explanation at the beginning of the adventure). *We recommend bringing dice and your phone/some technology with internet connection capabilities!* If you already have significant experience with D&D or TTRPGs and want to check us out, our event has birthed an adjacent community that runs several tables alongside the main event with open seats every week! What can you expect? * Someone to walk you through how the night usually goes, the community expectations, and a good table to play at * Character pregens so you don't have to do any homework before you show up (and sometimes an option to quickly create your own character sheet) * A GM for whom bringing on new players is a normal and frequent occurrence * A community of players who enjoy the hobby & enjoy welcoming beginners to the space About the Venue Thieves Run is a third space designed to build community around the play of games like Dungeons & Dragons. Parking * There is a beautiful parking lot next door to Thieves Run, but it does not belong to us. We are in the process of asking for permission to use this lot after White Clay's hours, but for now we ask that you respect our new neighbors by not parking there. * The street parking on Adams Street right next to us, we recently learned, is a hot spot for semitrucks to take the turn from Story to Adams either too wide or not wide enough, so parking close to the intersection of Story and Adams is legal but risky. * *There is pretty plentiful street parking nearby*, and there is also a park with a parking lot that's maybe a minute walk away.
