D&D and more at The Independent!

About this event

**TLDR:** *See specific game postings and sign up for them on our web app at* ***[ATLRPG.org/calendar](atlrpg.org/calendar)*** ! Hail and well met, adventurers! We host multiple weekly meetups for playing D&D and other TTRPGs. Both new and inexperienced players are welcome! We'll teach you the rules, and give a free pre-generated character and set of dice to all first-time players, unless otherwise noted by a specific Game Master (GM). GMs of all skill levels, using any system or setting, are always welcome. Also, we offer both **giftcards from The Independent** for GMs, and a virtual **GM Token** GMs can enter into raffles for donated TTRPG 'loot' at our monthly GM Workshop! **How It Works:** * We use a **[digital signup](www.atlrpg.org)** where GMs\* post their game pre-pitch specs, and players can Reserve their spot in a single game or Waitlist in multiple. An Admin or another regular attendee can help with signups on-site for in-person/walk-in signups. * (\*including Flex GMs if they're unsure if they can run, are up for running, will be needed, or would otherwise be playing) * Unofficial 'ATLRPG Happy Hour' starts at 6:00 PM - meet your fellows, discuss your plans, and prepare devious plots! Folks usually arrive after 6:30pm. * At **7:00 PM**, the official meetup starts! By 7:15pm, GMs gather their players and the games begin. Games typically run from 7:30 PM to 10:00/11:00 PM. **What You Need to Bring:** You don't need to bring anything to play--we provide dice, character sheets, and helpful advice for all new players! * ***Players***, if you want to bring a homemade character sheet, the assumptions for D&D 5e are 3rd level, Standard Array or Point Buy, and average HP. Any WotC content, but no UA or Homebrew.
