About this event
After a sold-out world tour, comedian and bestselling author David Nihill returns with his newest show, Taking Tangents. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Nihill left home at 22 and spent years living and working around the world, experiences that now fuel a comedy career built on cultural observations, travel stories, language mishaps, and the realities of life as a self-described “mildly confused immigrant.” Winner of the prestigious San Francisco Comedy Competition, Nihill has been featured by TED.com, SiriusXM, NPR, the Netflix Is A Joke Festival, and RTÉ’s Late Late Show. His acclaimed specials include Documented, Cultural Appreciation, and the award-winning Shelf Help. Described by Scenestr as “warm, affable and witty, an astute Irish sensibility and trademark tongue-in-cheek,” Nihill blends stand-up and storytelling in a show shaped by curiosity, global perspective, and unexpected detours. Another Scenestr review aptly calls him a “comedic pinball wizard,” a fitting description for an evening built around the entertaining tangents that emerge from a life spent crossing borders and collecting stories. This performance is for 18+ only.
