Bios: Dave Len Scott , trumpeter-composer, is best known for playing with Boz Scaggs and San Francisco Symphony. He got his degree at the University of Michigan, Scott studied jazz and trumpet performance with William Pfund, former president of the International Trumpet Guild, and got a masters degree from the University of Colorado in 1990. He was a classical trumpeter with the San Francisco Symphony, Honolulu, Napa and Santa Rosa Symphonies and as guest soloist with the SF Sinfonietta Orchestra, he toured and recorded with Boz Scaggs, Rosemary Clooney, Michael Feinstein, the Marcus Shelby Orchestra, among others. He was a big part of the jazz scene in San Francisco since the early 1990s, founder and leader of the Trumpet Supergroup and the Dave Len Scott Jazz Quartet. Alex Murzyn has a versatility and musicianship that has made him one of the most in demand saxophonists in New Mexico. Relocating from the San Francisco area, where he played with numerous bands, including Huey Lewis and the News, Ray Obiedo, Pete Escovedo and the Stan Kenton Legacy Orchestra, with a career spanning three decades. He has three CDs under his name, and is working to complete the fourth soon to be released. His music stems from traditional and contemporary jazz, soul, rock, funk and latin. He is equally accomplished on flute and clarinet.Bob Fox is an amazing pianist and composer, and was the beloved pianist at Club Legato for countless years.
