Journey into a world of myth and magic during Dance Alive National Ballet Presents “Firebird.” Performed with the University of Florida Symphony Orchestra, the evening features Stravinsky’s iconic ballet “The Firebird,” following the legendary creature as it helps a princess overcome the evil magician Katschei. The program also includes the love duet from “Tristan and Isolde,” choreography by Tales Ribeiro set to music by Mendelssohn, and Judy Skinner’s “Phoenix Rising” set to music by Stella Sung, creating a memorable evening of music and dance for the whole family.
