CAB 2032. In an era of brain rot, doom scrolling, and social media addiction, it is important to slow down and evaluate what we are reading, watching, and listening to. Join us for a workshop on developing a critical media journal where we will: Identify key questions you can ask yourself while you "consume" media Cover examples of critical media journals/entries Start our own critical media journals Journaling supplies, including a small, lined journal, markers, and pens, will be provided. Feel free to bring any additional journaling supplies. Also, come armed with at least one piece of media you have "consumed" such as a book, TikTok, Substack essay, etc.
