Creativity, Retirement and You!
Has retirement changed your relationship with creativity? Many people experience a creative renaissance in retirement — turns out that the brain is wired for it. Neurologically, some of the most powerful components of creativity grow stronger in older adulthood. We experience: • Deeper insight • More emotional richness • Greater integrative thinking • More freedom from inhibition • Stronger meaning-making Join us for a conversation about creativity and retirement. We will explore what it means to be creative, creativity and the brain, aging and creativity, and creative habits. We’re excited to hear about your creative pursuits and how being creative (in all its forms) has helped you thrive in retirement. As always, we look forward to engaging discussion and creating community as we learn from each other, evolve, and grow in this chapter of our lives. If you are able, join us for a social hour after our discussion at a local restaurant.
