CreativeMornings Fort Worth Presents Fabio Labrada

Elevated thinking fuels big ideas, but altitude does more than change your perspective; it sparks clarity. Looking out from a skyscraper or a window seat at 30,000 feet, chaos resolves into patterns, revealing the big picture and your place within it. CreativeMornings invites you to gain some altitude this October, then bring that perspective back down to build something worthy of the climb. Speaking on this month’s theme is Fabio Labrada, founder of Raquel’s Wings for Life. Established in 2005, this non-profit provides free air transportation for cancer patients traveling to treatment across North Texas and Oklahoma, alleviating the financial and logistical burdens of long-distance medical travel to centers like MD Anderson Cancer Center. Fabio’s mission is deeply personal. Born in Cuba, he immigrated to the United States and became a commercial pilot. He spent years helping his mother navigate her cancer care, and later faced his own cancer diagnosis, a journey that profoundly deepened his connection to the patients he serves. Today, he lives in Decatur, expanding the organization’s reach through nationwide outreach and community partnerships. Come hear Fabio share how altitude shapes his work, his purpose, and the way he sees possibility in service. This event is free and open to all.
