About this event
The cold winter months are perfect for a cozy craft like embroidery! Do you love learning new hand sewing, or embroidery stitches, but don't have anywhere to keep your practice safe? Want a handy way to see your progress as you learn and grow your skills? Come make your very own Slot and Tab Fabric Stitch Book in this fun and interactive class! Join Librarian Betsey and the Creativebug program (available free to all library card holders through the DPL website) to learn how to make your very own Fabric Stitch Book! Materials will be provided on a first come first serves basis and may be limited, however, please feel free to bring your own materials to work with if you prefer. During the class we will be using felt, wool, canvas, or fleece to construct the books. There will also be needles and embroidery floss available for those who want to practice their stitches immediately! There is no registration necessary. For any questions about this program please email Betseya@deschuteslibrary.org
