About this event

Guest author Jacob Nordby is returning to work with us this night! He will be sharing insights on writing his book being released in October titled Acorn. Check out the beginning pages of his illustrated book, a story for all ages (click here). Jacob Nordby is a co-founder of Heal + Create and The Institute for Creative Living Foundation 501(c)3, and the author of several books, including Blessed Are the Weird – A Manifesto for Creatives and The Creative Cure. He previously worked as the marketing director for a traditional publishing house and oversaw the launch of many bestselling books. A working author and creative guide, he has a passion for helping writers solve their challenges and enjoy the satisfaction of sharing their work with the world. Do you want to connect with a creative writing community? Join us monthly where writers help writers. Each month we focus on an element of the writing process with coaching, writing prompts for growth, peer support for works in progress, share a variety of writing tools, and engage with guest presenters. Registration is recommended but drop-ins are also welcome. Writers of all genres and levels are encouraged to participate.
