About this event
Meeting Room. Take fabric and tear them into strips. Use the strips to braid up a rug that is both functional and beautiful. During this event you can learn the process, start a rug and take additional materials to finish it at home. This project is good for anyone who can use scissors or weave. All materials and tools are provided. Materials are 100% post-consumer meaning we use only reclaimed, recycled or donated items. Feel free to bring sheets or jeans or material that can be turned into more weaving material. Presented by Remakery Tacoma, funded by the City of Tacoma/Tacoma Creates, and hosted by Tacoma Public Library.
