About this event
ASI’s Craft and Cocktails workshops are fun and approachable sessions in community. Join felter Jen Newburg in January to needle felt a colorful winter scene. Grab a friend and enjoy a beverage from FIKA Café while making a sweet woolly scene. Using a felt base, colorful wool, and felting needles, students will use needle felting techniques to “paint with wool” to create a colorful scene. The finished scenes will be fixed inside a mini grapevine wreath, perfect for display. No previous experience is necessary to head home with a beautiful decoration that captures the best of winter! Additional information: Advanced registration required. Registration includes one beverage from FIKA Café. A $20 materials fee is due in class to the instructor and covers all tools and materials. Prerequisites: Ages: This program is open to ages 21+. Skill level: Open to all skill levels.
