Bring your passion for pastry to the next level with this 5-day hands-on Pastry Boot Camp, designed to enhance your understanding of the fundamental techniques you need to prepare all the amazing desserts found in a patisserie. Under the expert guidance of a CIA chef instructor, you will: Deepen your comprehension of the functions of basic baking ingredients down to a science. Create basic preparations such as laminated dough, pastry cream, meringues, buttercreams, ganache, and mousses. Develop skills like tempering chocolate, making pâte à choux for éclairs and cream puffs, discuss foaming and creaming methods, assembling cakes and plating desserts. Learn to speak like a professional chef, with correct terminologies and definitions. Boot Camps include approximately 5 hours of hands-on learning each day, The end of the class is reserved for final recipe review and the enjoyment of a delicious meal produced during your time in the kitchen.
