## The cost is only $5 to help cover my rental costs, plates and ingredients. ## The Art of the Crepe: A Masterclass in Simple Elegance Crepes are the ultimate "hidden gem" of the culinary world—they look incredibly impressive and expensive, yet they are made from the most basic pantry staples: flour, eggs, and milk. This class is designed to take the intimidation out of the process, showing you how a few simple techniques can turn a humble batter into a gourmet meal. ## What We’ll Master Instead of standing over a stove for two hours, we’ve designed a flow that lets everyone learn, prep, and cook without the rush. * **The Perfect Batter:** Learn the "blender method" for a silk-smooth consistency * **The Swirl Technique:** We will practice the wrist motion needed to get that paper-thin, edge-to-edge finish using a standard non-stick pan. * **Sweet vs. Savory:** We’ll explore "The Flip" and how to transition from a classic ham-and-cheese *galette* to a decadent dessert crepe. ## Class Flow * **The Prep:** Help me create the batter and cut toppings. * **The Demo:** I’ll show you the heat management and flipping techniques on the main stove. * **The Rotation:** We’ll rotate through the "Crepe Station" in pairs, so everyone gets hands-on time at the burner to cook their own stack. * **The Feast:** We’ll end the session by sitting down together to enjoy our creations with a custom toppings bar.
