Contradance at IAHC

What is Contra Dancing? Fun! Exciting. Swirling. Walking. A "Caller" will lead the dancers by calling each movement throughout the dance as the dancers progressively swirl down one end of the dance floor to the other end. ALL AGES can do it. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You DO NOT NEED TO BRING A PARTNER. CAN COME ALONE. Super Nice Folks. Experienced Dancers will help you. You will start dancing on the first song. Great exercise. Only $7-$10 (sliding scale), seniors & students $5, for hours of dancing to really great live music - banjos, fiddles and more. Music and Dancing start at 7pm till 9:30pm with a 15 minute break.
