Meeting Room 1. With spring on the horizon, now is the time to start planning your containers! Join Nebraska Extension Master Gardener Volunteers to learn the basics of ornamental container gardening, from selecting plants suited to your space to choosing containers, designing eye-catching combinations, and keeping your garden thriving all season. During the hands-on portion, participants will sow ornamental seeds into a take-home pot to start their own small garden. This is a free event for adults 19+. Registration is required and opens Dec. 1. All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please email Nancy Novotny at NNovotny@omahalibrary.org to request accommodation. Requests must be made at least five business days before the activity or event.
