Conservation Clinic

Bring in cherished objects and learn how to preserve them for future generations. From family quilts and photo albums to ceramics, portraits, furniture, and everything in between, conservation staff and students will hear the stories of your objects and share condition assessments, treatment recommendations, and display and storage advice. Your advance registration allows us to match you with someone who specializes in conservation of your object, whether it is a painting, textile, works of art on paper, book, archival document, photograph, furniture, or three-dimensional object (glass, ceramics, metals, organics).
