Fair Lawn - Art Gallery. Savage Jazz Quintet includes Rick Savage on trumpet and flugelhorn, Scott Robert Avidon on saxophone and flute, Bob Himmelberger on piano, Tony Cimorosi on acoustic and electric bass, and Koko Bermejo on drums. Savage Jazz Quintet represents the culmination of decades of collaboration in various iterations of members. This group brings together five kindred spirits, all significant jazz performers and composers into a cohesive and symbiotic amalgam. While each member brings their individuality as a composer, the songs all share a commonality in being unrelenting, sincere, modern jazz that pulls no punches.
