About this event

Come join your neighbors for an engaging, community-led discussion focused on flooding, energy and extreme heat, and healthy homes. During this session, you'll: Utilize the EJNYC Report to learn about environmental justice issues impacting Brooklyn. Talk to your neighbors about your experiences and concerns. Develop solutions through collaboration to identify meaningful ways to address the environmental issues. We want to hear from you! Everything shared and developed during these sessions will be compiled into a final community report, which will then be shared with the Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ). Our goal is to inform MOCEJ of community conversations and actions around environmental justice that YOU want to see in NYC. Open to the entire community! We're working to make participation as accessible as possible. Please fill out this form to let us know what services you require! Supporting Partners: Newtown Creek Alliance, 350 Brooklyn, Brooklyn Movement Center, Voice of Gowanus, GreenCity Force, Prospect Park Alliance, Workers Justice Project, Cypress Hills LDC, Sure We Can, Green Guerillas, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, The Opportunity Hub Registration Required.
