Remember how exciting field trips used to be? We’re bringing that spirit back! Join us for a new series of community field trips exploring the places where civic life happens, alongside fellow curious neighbors. On this field trip to Arapahoe County Elections, you’ll get an inside look at our mail ballot process during an active election. Learn about ballot intake, voting security and democratic transparency on a guided tour. Transportation is provided. We’ll depart and return together by bus from Koelbel Library. Note: The tour will involve 40 minutes of walking and standing indoors. The bus and tour are wheelchair accessible. We recommend attendees bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes. Light refreshments will be provided. Schedule: 8 am: Check in at Koelbel Library 8:30 am: Depart by bus 9–10:30 am: Tour Arapahoe County Elections 11 am: Arrive at Koelbel Library
