Community Day: Pay What you Can Day
Your Garden, Your Way! We believe nature should be accessible to everyone. On Community Day pay what you can. Pay $5, $10, $15 or any amount that works for you. In return, your contribution nurtures the Garden’s research, conservation and protection of desert plants for generations to come. Join us each month: April 14: Photography for Conservation Activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Explore photography as a tool for conservation and citizen science. Learn how to use photography to tell stories, document nature and support scientific research while capturing compelling images. In partnership with AZ(LAND), learn about Polaroid and digital nature photography. May 12: Sustainability Activities 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Join us as we explore technologies and community-driven actions shaping a more sustainable future in the desert. Learn how local efforts are advancing environmental justice and sustainability with AZ(LAND), and try a hands-on paper-making activity using invasive plant materials. Cactus Clubhouse open 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Cactus Clubhouse is an engaging, hands-on nature play space designed especially for kids 12 and under. Capacity may be limited on Community Day.
