About this event
Come From Away is a critically acclaimed musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, winning Best New Musical at the 2019 Olivier Awards. Based on true events, it tells the uplifting story of Gander, Newfoundland, where 38 planes carrying thousands of travelers were diverted on September 11, 2001. Overcoming culture clashes and language barriers, the locals welcomed stranded guests with open arms-a moving reminder of humanity's ability to unite.
