Join Columbia DSL for a summer of making, testing, and imagining together. This meetup opens the door to the Dead Internet Museum, a growing collective project that will become a 10,000-square-foot installation at MAD Arts this fall. Weβre inviting artists, students, designers, technologists, storytellers, and curious people of all kinds to step into the process early. Come meet new collaborators, try things before they are finished, share ideas, build small experiments, and help shape the world of the project as it comes to life. No special background is needed. Just bring your curiosity, your point of view, and a willingness to make something strange with others. The session will be followed by an open discussion on designing, producing, and funding immersive works. Special guests include Nick Fortugno (Director Gaming Pathways, CUNY), Shar Simpson (Artist & Educator, Columbia DSL), and Lance Weiler (artists & Columbia DSL Director)
