Color Theory for Fiber Artists

About this event

Calling all artists. Come and explore ways to think about and utilize color theory in your creative pursuits. We will explore the factors involved in color such as value, hue, chroma, and temperature, as well color harmonies and how to use them effectively for your intentions, color meanings in various cultures, and advanced techniques to further master cohesion in your artworks and add variety to your color approach. The class is geared toward fiber artists, but all artists are welcome! Anoka County Library strives to ensure that all visitors are able to access library resources, services, and programs. Assistive technology and program accommodations are available at many library locations, as outlined on our library accessibility page. Please call the library branch hosting the program at least two weeks prior to an event if there are additional accommodations we can provide for you to fully participate. This program is funded by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund
