Explore the possibilities of paper through collage. Cut, layer, combine, and transform materials to create an original work of art. No experience necessary. 📅 October 27th | 6:30–8:00 PM 📍 Hoboken Historical Museum Join us for an evening of hands-on creativity as we explore collage as a medium for self-expression. All supplies are included, and attendees are welcome to bring their own materials to incorporate — decorative or textured paper, stickers, found or everyday objects, and anything else you’d like to experiment with. We also encourage (but don’t expect!) you to bring personal pieces of ephemera — ticket stubs, postcards, flyers, menus, maps, stamps, paper scraps, and other small keepsakes — to weave into your piece. Light refreshments will be provided, and the evening is BYOB. Walk away with your very own original work of art! Workshop led by Susan Olinsky SUSAN OLINSKY is an artist and designer with over 25 years of experience working across fine art, graphic design, textiles, and creative industries. Her multidisciplinary practice explores material, form, and idea, with a particular focus on paper as both medium and concept. Her professional work has ranged from award-winning packaging and product development to collaborations with cultural nonprofits and public art projects, including a selection for a large-scale installation at Rockefeller Center in NYC. Drawing from her experience as both a designer and maker, Susan approaches workshops as opportunities to explore process, experiment with materials, and discover new ways of seeing and making.
