About this event
CoLAB Method brings in-person on-camera acting classes for middle and high school students (grades 6–12) to the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, 325 W Walnut St., starting Friday, Oct. 30, 2026. Classes meet Fridays, 5:30–6:30 PM, in the Mozart Room, in 12-week cycles. Middle and high schoolers register separately and start in one combined class; if enrollment is strong, high school moves to its own 6:30–7:30 PM class. Tuition is $325 per cycle. Students learn to work in front of a camera the way professionals do: taking direction, making real choices and staying honest on screen. Before anyone learns a line, the class works on mindset: how students see themselves and the energy they bring into a room. That confidence carries into the classroom, job interviews and everyday life. Classes are taught by CoLAB founders Thomas and Daniella Adisi. Thomas played young Jax Teller on "Sons of Anarchy" and has appeared on "Chicago Fire," "Chicago Med" and "The Following," along with major commercial campaigns for Microsoft, Samsung and Grainger. Daniella is an actor, produced playwright and director with national campaigns for Annie's Organics and Garanimals. They have taught on-camera acting since 2016, starting at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Register at https://academy.colabmethod.com/p/page-e6346dd7. More at colabmethod.com.
