About this event
A welcoming social opportunity for people living with brain changes (due to MCI, Alzheimer’s, or any type of dementia) to attend along with their care partner. Each month, we’ll enjoy a fun, dementia-friendly activity together as we build community connections. We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month, from 2:00-3:30pm in the Community Room of the Central Library About the leader: Each month's gathering will be led by local dementia expert, Patty Schwab, of Bend's Dementia Support Community LLC. Patty is a master's level gerontologist and dementia navigator with training and experience in Montessori dementia care, adaptive recreation, care partner support, and life enrichment for people living with dementia. Assisted Listening systems are available. Please reach out ahead of time if you are interested in using these systems.
